About Dr. Bonisha Borah
Dr. Bonisha Borah is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Royal School of Engineering & Technology (RSET), The Assam Royal Global University. She completed her PhD from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati in 2022, specializing in Seismic Analysis and Design of Confined Masonry Buildings.
Her research focuses on the nonlinear behavior of structures, earthquake-resistant design, retrofitting, and vernacular housing. She has extensive experience in numerical simulation studies using software like Abaqus and SAP2000, and is well-versed in experimental testing of confined masonry frames.
Dr. Borah has received multiple accolades for her research work, including Best Paper Awards and international travel grants. She is an active member of prestigious professional organizations and serves as a reviewer for several high-impact journals in structural engineering.
